Pigmented Lesions
These lesions are flat, brown or dark brown spots on sun-exposed skin as people age. Sunspots most commonly appear on the back of the hands, the forearms, neck, chest, and face and are associated with long-standing sun exposer.
Lasers are much more precise because the light is used to selectively reduce the pigment without damaging the normal surrounding skin; sun spots/age spots, freckles, cafe-au-lait, and melasma.
