The Vessels may undergo immediate graying or blanching, they also may exhibit a slight purple or red colouring. The vessels will fully or partially fade in about 10 to 14 days. Do not pick, scratch or remove scabs. Treatment can be repeated after 7 to 10 days if the skin has fully healed.

Please make sure you have not applied any form of self-tan for 2 weeks prior to your treatment.

The treatment can cause blistering and scabbing, if this appears please do not shave for 1 – 3 days over the area. Discomfort such as swelling or redness(lasting from a few hours to a couple of days) can be relieved with acetaminophen or ice packs.

Avoid the sun, all types of tanning and tanning lotions for 2 weeks after treatment. Always use a high-quality SPF50 sunblock.

For one week after treatment, you should avoid hot baths, pools, saunas etc, additionally, exercise can cause vasodilation so for one-week post treatment please refrain from heavy exercise, walking is encouraged.

Any use of make-up on the treated area needs to be removed gently as excess rubbing can open the area and increase the chance of scarring, if possible avoid the use of make up for 1-2 weeks post treatment.

Apply antibiotic ointment of the physicians’ choice to the area to prevent drying or crusting and to soothe the skin. If crust develops allow it to fall off naturally.
